To those who may not know him, Dr. Kenneth O. Fladmark may be another face on campus. To those who do know him, he is a professor of Business Adminis- tration here at Susquehanna University. This native of South Dakota proves to be knowledgeable and talented as illustrated by his list of accomplishments and teach- ing experiences. Dr. Fladmark re- ceived a B.A. at Augustana Col- lege, Sioux Falls; an M. Litt. at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsyl- vania; and a Ph.D. at Pennsylva- nia State University He taught at Rochester Institute of Technol- ogy for eleven years before join- ing the Susquehanna University teaching staff in 1961 and, while on sabbatical in 1977-78, he taught as a Visiting Professor of Management in order to provide graduate education for military personnel. This opportunity al- lowed him to travel to such countries as Italy, Germany, Spain, and England. Dr. Flad- mark ' s most recent accomplish- ment, receiving the annual Lind- back Foundation Award for Out- standing Teaching, was awarded to him in 1983. The 1985 Lanthorn staff would like to dedicate this yearbook to Dr. Fladmark as a gesture of ap- preciation and gratitude. We would also, along with Susque- hanna University staff and stu- dents, like to wish him success in his future endeavors.
