Class History As this class of --56 stands together for the last time, we look back on four happy years, not only of learning, but of good times as well. In our Freshman year, we were a large class of thirty-three. We had six new classmates from Lanesboro, and four from Stevens Point. We felt very much alone then: young ---- eager to learn, but dominated by Seniors. In the Sophomore year we decreased in size. It was perhaps our hardest year, because it was the beginning of our senior high course. Then we were Juniors: a year full of dances, parties, and prom worries. In March we finally received our class rings. What an exciting day that was! After showing our rings off for a few days, we began to realize the hard task that was ahead of us ---- to attain the goal that our rings stood fori, Seniors at last! We deem it a great honor and privilege to be the first class to graduate from the new school. We are most grateful to the patient, kind and sympathetic teachers who helped us through these four long years to achieve our goal ---- a successful, and happy graduation day.
