Each homeroom elects a student to represent it, and all students in that room give their questions about the school to their representative. This is just another example of American democracy at work in the Dorsey Community. In order to help new students, the board sponsors sock hops, and plans assemblies for both boys and girls. New students are given special assemblies to help them adjust to Dorsey life.
