They have assisfed DIARY OF A KAMEHAS SUMMER 1948 lf seems only a few weeks ago-perhaps, monfhs-buf no longer, fhaf we and our classmafes were wide-eyed freshman. Now we are donning our caps and gownsl Can anyfhing ever be so wonderful again as fhese fhree fasf fieefing years af Dorsey High? Significanfly for our class name, which means SUPREME, fhe Kamehas sfarfed off fheir A12 lerm by elecfing fhe oufsfanding officers whose picfures appear on fhis page. Silver gray fbecause we were shining examplesi, and cardinal red were fhe colors selecfed for our sweafers and Class decorafions. TWELFTH NIGHT, direcfed by Mrs. Moore, was fhe auspicious sfage producfion which our Class presenled fo fhe Dorsey Communify. This play followed OUR TOWN, in which fhe Kamehas, foo, played mosf of fhe sfellar roles. On May 13fh, lhe supreme Kamehas baffled againsf lhe valianf Gambocinos on Rancho Playground, a sfruggle, which from fhe beginning had fo resulf in a vicfory for fhe supreme ones.
