We would like to say we really appreciate our engineers, and we thank them very much. Keep up the good work!! Paraprofessionals The Anthony paraprofessionals are those helpful people around the school who often go unnoticed. They work in the office, help in the library, work in the school suspen- sion rooms, work with the teachers, and help supervise our lunchroom every day. ' dy Wanner, Assistant Prmczpai Going from 6th to 7th grade is no easy task, ya know. Self- contained classes in elementary schools are pretty much teacher directed all day long. In 6th grade, you get 'few chances to seek and find your own direction. Seventh grade is our first opportunity to really show what we can do. And wetre not just talking skateboards, make up and passing notes. Besides the fact itts a totally new school for us, we have to deal with six different classes and six different teachers everyday. Sometimes it's hard to keep track of all the classes, not to mention the homework. I guess wetre up to the mark though, as these pictures show. They might even help you find a book, so watch it. In the Audio Visual Department they learn all about running film projectors and VCRs and stuff. Planned and written by hardworking students in Mr. Blanchard,s 4th hour class each semester, the Anecdote is eagerly waited for and read by most people in the building. Doing layouts, taking pictures, typing and doing interviews are only a few of the things practiced and learned. Besides that, it's fun. We wonder whether Shakespeare gets much notice in the Drama Club. Actually, we doubt it, but we donit doubt that the club plays and practices the arts of staging and acting. Among other things, the Drama Club is a great place to explore your talent for pretending to be someone else. Could you pull it off? How do you, anyway, in such a way that your audience is transported from there to ittherem? Join up and find out if youive got what it takes to learn to be on stage. There are certain privileges and rights that only come by being an eighth grader. An eighth grader takes art. An eighth grader takes history ta privilege? hmmmi. An eighth grader can say ithi to seventh grade teachers and they can keep their evelasting cool no matter what. The eighth graders endured their seventh grade year, and now, whois the 42 boss? Itts been a good year, or at least we, the Anthonian staff, think so. Also, we note that it seemed to go fast, maybe too fast. From the winning Twins to the Olympics to quarterly grades to summer vacation, these were the mileposts that marked our year. We hope it was a productive year for you and that you made personal pro- gress toward your goals. We also hope you enjoy our efforts to provide a lasting memento to your life at Anthony Junior High School, 1987-1988.
