Administrators and Office Personnel Mr. Edward Carlson Principal Mr. R.C. Johnson Assistant Principal Faculty and Staff Herets looking at the dear old faculty, the people who really make this place run as smoothly as it does. We saw a new principal and several other staff members come this year. We worried with our favorite teachers as they wondered where they might be next year with the upheaval of school closings. We mourned the death of our favorite janitor. We congratulated all the retiring staff members, but worried that they wouldn,t be replaced by people as nice. Mr. Rutt, Mr. Dull, Mrs. Rotenberg, Mr. Carlson, and Mr. R.C. Johnson. Mrs. Love, Mrs. Freeberg, Mrs. E and Mrs. Jones.

Here we are . . . the serious, no-nonsense editors of your book. Is that really Jocinda putting snow on Lizts head and Brandt starting to zonk somebody with a snowball? On school property yet? Couldntt be ! Alison Smith, one of the Activities editors, was inside doing her work. Clockwise, the rest of us are Brandt Williams on top of the hill, Carol Strand, Nicole Kosanke, Robin Fossett, Liz Roe, Jocinda Fleeson, Lisa Tiedje, and Jon Dees. Editors and Cover Entries It took a lot of time, blurred pictures, and ttOh, shootsh to put this yearbook together, but here it is, successfully completed. We worked hard, and were proud of what we did. We hope you have as much satisfaction reading it as we did putting it all together. Retiring Personnel Congratulations to Mr. Vern Bauer who has helped us develop a concern for a complete education, mind as well as body, and who has also helped us try to achieve pride in a job well done . . . To Mrs. Fern Gronneberg who has shown us that learning can be serious, systematic, and satisfying . . . To Mr. Robert Rutt who has helped us solve the most traumatic of our problems, who has given us encouragement when welve needed it . . . To Mrs. Gladys Love who has not only programmed all our classes and changed schedules, but has done so with a smile; and to Mr. Max Sporer, who has given us a fundamental, structured classroom, but never without the quick quip and a joke and a pat on the back. Thank you all. Dedication: Mr. Robert Brant We respect Mr. Brant as a teacher. He makes finding a city on a map of Africa or remembering the names of Russials rivers seem easier. He calmly, but authoritatively, shows us what to do and how to do it. He shows he cares what happens to us and demands that we do our best. We respect Mr. Brant also because he has shown us by example how to live courageously and face every challenge life gives us. As a person Mr. Brant faces a greater challenge each day than most of us ever will. He has shown us what dignity, independence, and dedication really are. Thanks for caring and being yourself, Mr. Brant.
