Chess And Checkers Club This year was the first time that the Chess and Checkers Club had an undefeated champion. Mike Amery, a seventh grader, played 33 games without a defeat; in chess, that is. He also won the checkers tourna- ment, but he did have three losses. Semester Two aides: Cindy Baago, Ann Follrath, Becky Cuningham, la- nice Filigenzi, Margaret McCon- ville, Corae Haas, Eric Comer, Danna Morfenski, Carolyn Daher, Linda Edmonds, and Georgeanne Keller. Learning the switch boards was difficult, but we managed. Even though sometimes we got confused, and cut people off in the middle of their sentences, we always managed to get help from one of the clerks. A-Mart Staff We hated getting here early once a week when it was our turn to work, but we had fun, too. We hated telling people that we STILL didn't have the new order of compasses or penciI-top erasers in, but we liked handing out change, and writing passes. From the top: Denise Fraction, Karla Hermodson, Dawn Norvell, Mike Fugle, Erica Olson. Sitting: Tim Holdgrafer, Vija Brookshire, and Dean Larson. Goofing off: Cindy Baago, Todd Bruininks, and Sarah Almquist.
