The lyric soprano graduated from E-ayior University and Wutem Carolina University. She become irrterestea' in the aisiting artist program white in graduate school at Westem Caroitna where she worked uiith tuio aisiting artists. and decided to apply for acceptance to the NCHA program- This is Cram-'s secoacl' year as a Limiting artist. Her ,first year was spent at Coastal Carolina in Jacksoauiite. Her career has included performances in master classes under such artists as Dalton Baldwin. Gwendolyn Holdaushy, Judith Fiasiiia. and Eeaita Uaiiente. Her opera performances trrciude rates in Cost .Fan Tuite. The Crucibl'e,. Falsta,fj . H l'l're Telephone. and Die Eauberflote. Her musical theater credits include Cin-dspell, A Little Night l'-'lasic. Live A Little. Marne, and Snoopy l' like to think of myself as o tiers-a-tile singer, said Cram- I striae to hiring a special 'life' to my music- respecting tradition and style, while making each piece a uery personal creation. Both of Beth 's parents were rnusicrans and. as a sa-nail girl. Cram had no desire to become a musician herself, it uiasn't until high school' that she changed her mind. .Beth has just finished a successful performance at the Andy Griffith Playhouse. She has also established a faculty chorus here at SCC: she said that the response has been tremendous. Looking ahead to the future she said. l would like to have some compositions paaitsheci, to earn ray -doctorate in music, sing in Europe. to begin singing professionally, and to be teaching music-
