HUTCHENS N-4 -nn ga 5 Since Mr. James A. Hutchens had dedicated the last twenty years of his Ilfe to leaching, lhe 1986-'37 Lancer is dedi- cated to hlm. After he completed high school. Mr. I-lutchens moved on to the University ol' North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received his Masters Degree, Before Mr. Hulchens jnlned the stef! at SCC on February 1, 1967, he was the Register ul Deeds in Yadkin County. On May 31,1985 he retired. But when school started this lall he was hack as a part-tlme teacher.
