From this convention the delegates discovered how Student Councils in other schools all over the state are run. The other accomplishments for this year have been: The completion of the Handbook, the promotion of a better organized club program, the beginning of a seven period day, the providing of American flags for all homerooms and the sponsoring of the May Ball. The council this year had 21 members, all of whom were active in creating closer relationships between teachers and students. The workers have such objectives as: personal cleanliness, a better understanding of nutrition and what it means to the child, how to work and get along with other people, how to increase their ef- ficiency and think more quickly, and the fundament- als of proper cookery. Our cafeteria has been greatly modernized and utilities such as a large oven, electric mixer, and elec- tric dishwasher enable the workers in the cafeteria to serve delicious meals quickly. Mrs. C. Cook, assistant to Mrs. Maust, is a great help and deserves much credit for her work in the new cafeteria. It is the aim of the cafeteria workers to organize as a study group so that we may become more able to put into practice the Finest lunch program in any school. 'dt rx 3 I f I A??' , fr 1 X i- . A.
