929264 CGIVIIVIANDER LOUIS P. DEASARO United States Navy A native of Staten Island, New York, Commander Louis P. Deasaro was commissioned upon graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1974. Commander Deasaro's first sea going assignment was as Hrst Division Officer and later Navigator USS OUELLET QFF10775, followed by shore duty as an Instructor in the Department of Professional Development at the Naval Acad- emy. Following Surface Warfare Officers Department Head School in 1980, Commander Deasaro was the commissioning Ship Control Department Head for USS CLIFTON SPRAGUE IFFG 165. He reported to USS BUTTE CAE 275 as First Lieutenant in 1982, where he served until ordered to Department Head School as a Combat Systems Instructor in 1984. Commander Deasaro retumed to sea as Executive Officer on board USS KISKA IAE 555 in 1986. In 1988 he reported to the faculty of the Air Command and Staff College tAir War College5 at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. Commander Deasaro's awards include the Navy Commendation Medal 125, and the Navy Achievement Medal in addition to various campaign and service decorations. He holds a Master of Science Degree from George Washington University and has completed doctoral studies at the University of Alabama. Commander Deasaro is married to the fonner Cary Stewart of Panama City Beach, Florida and has two sons, Matthew and Gregory.
