When wearing a green cap meant certain persecution . . . when the Vig Committee paraded down the aisles in their black robes scaring us half to death .... When we lost the Tug-of-War and cried for days .... When the days were full of dissecting pigs and writing case studies .... When HQS wasn't unbearable if Mr. Fiske was teaching the class .... Then we began to settle down. Where-oh-where are the silly sophomores .... The year 1946 .... When a C in Anatomy signified genius .... When section IV A of H. Bfs skiing class tramped for ten weeks nfl hear that Bidick finally got through to her Senator to get a medical excuse.D .... When the Social Handbook wasn't written in 10 volumes .... When Mr. Clum distributed those clever little Coca Cola nature study cards in Biology II .... But we must move on, for soon we are to become upperclassmen. Where-oh-where are the jolly juniors . . . 1947 . . . with the syllabus and LaPorte both com- peting for the spotlight in P. E. Methods .... While the G. Efs had already finished observation and participation and were well on their way to Whitney Point .... Some Juniors still frantically . . . . . b .I k. trying to make up Skiing deficiencies before they go off campus . . . other Juniors uS1 y ma mg decorations for the Junior Prom .... Jill and Kaye dashing around taking their new Did Jobs serious- ly .... Now the big year approaches. Where-oh-where are the stately Seniors .... So here we are 1948-49 . . . with Aubrey Christie zooming through a class meeting in no time . . . and getting something accomplished .... Arlene Knickerbocker and Tom-e Townsend both winning Oscars . . . Charpie and Marius giving the N Y k Times some good competiton .... The G. E.'s spending a few thousand hours on Seminar ew or while the P. Efs struggle along with their group reports .... Accelerates finally Join the Class of '49 . . . and so together they move on to Senior parties, Moving-up-Dayil, Baccalaureate and finally graduation. Guess there aren't many who care to exchange those caps and gowns for that little green chapeau . . . but it's been fun . . . lots of fun. 19
