And so are four years woven into a diploma- every thread in retrospect. A panorama of daze well spent . . . griping and wondering why you go to school . . .drowning or freezing in the bleachers watching football and soccer games . . . the haze-craze phase pervading the hill and green . . . endless mountain climbing to hear that ever lovin' eight o'cloclc bell toll the knell of parting sleep. . . refresher courses in the lounge . . . multi-colored leaves falling softly to the ground as mid- semesters crash noisily down on all sidesl Comes the snow, it's time to fumble in the darlc on chilly a.m.'s. . . getting chappecl lips in trying to pass off skiing . . . straining your remedial vocal chords urging the fel- lows to sinlc another point or pin that man . . . Christmas, bringing the echo of carols and lilting laughter admidst sleigh bells . . . sparlcling eyes and hearts beating in 6X8 time . . . With June breathing on C.S.'l'.C. comes graduation . . . Senior Ball time . . .Na- ture dons her gayest garb to see you off. . . wallcing sedately up the steps for the last time, in blaclc, you feel a soft breeze catch your tassel and the wind sighs . . . By lofty elm trees shaded 'round . .
