X' pm N X Xf-ft U f - r A ,1 '1TL.cL::..,.nsl+ r 2, It took a lot of guts to become the first male faculty member at an all girls prep school And through the years, it has required a bit of tact, a threatening air, and a great deal of magic to propel scores of reluctant Sunseters through the rigors of the club mosses, balanced equations, and the periodic table It must have been courage, foolishness or a little b1t of both that kept Mr Wood at Sunset during the first years of faculty integration when there was only a solitary men s restroom on campus But it Was the magic-Wood s own personal brand-that kept us in the labs laughing at his corny jokes In deepest respect for his courage, his perseverance, but mostly for his magic we, the class of 1973 dedicate this yearbook to: the Bearded One, our gruff, soft-hearted, class sponsor, coordinator extraordinaire, and TEACHER.
