Dear Bisons, Being your Student Body President this year has made my Senior year the most enjoyable of my three years in high school. I realize that with the addition of the Freshman Class this year we underwent many drastic changes. Sometimes I wondered if we were going to be able to adjust to them all. However, the Bison Determination and Pride in us all still shines through, as it will forever. As we grow older and we take different routes in life, remember that one life common to all of us - that life at Sunset High. To the Seniors 7'7 : As we leave Sunset and our lives take different shapes and forms, remember to save a small place in your hearts for the laughter, joys, and memories we now leave behind. I love you! And may God bless you all,

I wwtwpwek , Well, my friends, we've finally made it. We've reached the top of the ladder of public education. From this point on we have no teachers on our backs, no notes saying why we're late or absent. We're grown men and women now and we've got to take it upon if ourselves to make ourselves the best persons we can possibly be. Something that's been told me all my life, and I'm sure you've r heard it also, is: You only get out of life what you put into it. This is my advice to my fellow Seniors as well as my fellow Bisons. You'll only get out of Sunset what you put into it. Put into it all you've got and keep up the traditions when we're gone. I God bless Sunset and the people in it, ag 1976-77 Senior Class President I came to Sunset High School as a Junior, having missed the opportunity of being a Sophomore here. My first day here began with fear: I was scared to death of being thrust into a new, big city school. But soon all my fears left me and I began to look around . Everywhere I went the people seemed glad to meet me. They actually were happy that I was there. But most of all, I was accepted and people were interested in me and concerned about me . Sunset marked the beginning of a new and beautiful chapter in my life. Sunset means everything and anything to me! To the Seniors of 1977 , I say: Never forget Sunset, for it is your very own and your years here will be a magical spot in your life always. To the Seniors of 1978, I say: Make the best of your Senior year, because before you realize it, it will all be behind you. I am proud to be a Sunset Bison, I love Sunset and what it stands for. I pray that Sunset will never lose the beauty that makes it so unique: its people, its traditions, and even the very bricks that hold it together. I pray that all future Sunset Bisons will grow to love her the way I have and always will. God Bless and Keep All of You, I 1976-77 President, National I Honor Society
