E Page T wenty-two February 18, 1949 To My Seniors: Once during one of our out-of-town football games this past fall two of our players had been in the game about thirty minutes. This had been thirty minutes of hard, steady play. The coach pulled them both. One of these boys was a co-captain, the other was a backfield man. They both approached the bench at about the same time, and needless to say, were fairly well exhausted. The captain sat down first but was suddenly aware that only one seat remained on the bench. The captain was on his feet instantly, and in the same moment saw to it that his player was on captain sat on the ground. This is just one tion where Sunset spirit prevailed--one time gentleman's background of manners, courtesy, ness prevailed. tm'wnm. Nw simple illustra where a young and thoughtful- May I suggest to you, young men and young women of the Senior Class, that as each day presents itself to you that you remember the dignity of labor, the grace of gratitude, and that you dedicate your lives to the service of humanity and to God. My very best wishes to each of you. Sincerely yours, MGQZCQ? R. H. Mc ay.
