Secretary-Treasurer In the year 1945-46, the Sunset High Dads Club again worked to continue the tra- ditions of the club in aiding and encouraging the students in all departments of their school Work, and to continue the fine neighborly spirit that exists between Sunset mothers and fathers. Scholarship awards were given for outstanding work in various subjects and to the R. O. T. C. Members of the club assisted in athletic activities, furnished transpor- tation, looked after grounds and training fields, and encouraged the teams in every way possible. A Dads Club Queen and five attendants were selected and an appropri- ate coronation ceremony was held in Dal-Hi S'tadium. This year marked the twentieth anniversary of the club. At the February meeting this occasion was celebrated with special recognition to past principals of the school, past presidents of the club, and life members. The club continued the work of enlarging the Memorial Fund to honor former students of Sunset who participated in the recent war. Addiional funds were secured by means of a bond selling campaign and a Memorial Fund Revue given by the club. Page Sewnlccn
