ROM other Helds of activity comes one to direct the knight-errantry of Sunset High School. Experienced and accomplished as he is, his success is assured. Although his perspective is different from ours, the scene is the same. May he find it a pleasant one, and may he soon come to have that attachment for Sunset which is peculiar to those connected in any way with it. We wish to express our gratitude for this first year of his splendid work in helping to make Sun- set an institution of high ideals of learning. We who are about to say Adios extend sincere wishes for many more years of happy association with Sunset, its students and faculty, to the new leader of Sunset's aspirants to success, Mr. W. T. White. THE SENIORS.

SLOW Sunset High Parent-Teacher Association year book contains the names of three hun- dred and forty-three active members, fourteen associate members and ninety-five con- tributing firms. These memberships finance the organization, with the additions of some revenue from game tournaments, dances, and paid assemblies. More than ever before in the history of the association, welfare work has held pre-eminence over all other effort. Lunches, carfare, and other help have been provided for an average of twenty-five students each month at an estimated cost of S30.00. Visits are made to homes and extraordinary efforts made to meet the situation brought about by unemployment. A picnic was given the R. O, T. C. boys at Mineral Wells, and a banquet to the football team. Co-operating with the Dads, Club, the association is providing funds for pictures of some of the seniors appearing in the Sundial, also for sweaters for letter men on the football team. The Parent-Teacher Association entertained graduates of both classes and gave 55.00 to a student in each class attaining the highest scholastic standing. It secured an Art Exhibit in December and served tea to members and guests. A life membership was presented to Mrs. Durrett, dean of girls. It holds membership in Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Council of Parents and Teachers, and the State and National Congress.
