HU9l19Yf Reggie HB, JR. Fisher, Loren E, JR. Terry McCarthy finds a hole in the Falcon line as he leads Hayward to a 26-0 victory over Sunset. Rochelman, Steve G. JR. Medford, John E, SR, Taylor, John G, JR. MVP Sunsets first night foot- ball game was something new but sad. The Falcons defense was not very ade- quate for Terry McCarthy and his Farmer friends. Our offense managed to move the ball but iust seemed to slow down near the goal lines. Reggie Hughey and Jim Flynn ground out 93 and 68 yards respectively for the Falcons. Reed, Wes FB, JR.

Cunnison, Bob T, SR. The 1962 H.A.L. curtain raiser was a heart breaker for the Falcons They were administered a 6-O defeat at the hands of the Spar- tans from Castro Valley. It was a defensive battle all the way, but in the last min- ute and a half the Spartans capitalized on a Falcon 'penalty and fumble to score the winning touchdown. Fuentes, Rudy HB, SR.
