The purpose of Block S is to organize members who have lettered in athletics and regulate the rules governing the wearing of block sweaters. Helping in student body activities, the sponsoring of dances and booths are just part ot the many activities that these boys participate in. A boy who has earned his block in athletics automatically is a member ot Block S. lt he is caught with too many stripes on his sweater he can have his block taken away. There are other rules which when broken will cause a boy to lose his block and most boys have worked too hard to lose this very special privilege and are careful about the rules set up by the club. The rules were made by the boys and for the boys of Sunset's Block S.
