President First Vice-President Second Vice-President Third Vice-President Fourth Vice-President Fifth Vice-President Sixth Vice-President Secretary-T reasurer In an effort to follow the Club's motto, Working in the interest of Sunset High School, the Dads Club has cooperated this year in every way possible with the faculty and student body to endeavor to make Sunset rank with the best high schools in America. Early in the year, the Club adopted several objectives, one of which was to up- hold a true American spirit by supporting the efforts to preserve our American insti- tutions and liberty. The Club is also adding to the Memorial Fund which will be used to erect a permanent memorial in honor of the former students of Sunset who have offered their services to their country. This year, as in the past, the Dads have given awards each semester to the most outstanding students in the various departments. They also maintain a loan fund which is available to any Sunset student who needs financial help to complete his school work. Psge Eleven

Delegate to the Dallas City Council The Parent-Teacher Association of Sunset High School holds membership with The National Congress of Parents and Teachers, The Texas Congress of Parents and Teachers, and The Dallas City Council of Parent-Teacher Associations. The objects of this association are to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, church, and community; to raise the standard of home life; to secure adequate laws for the care and protection of youth, and to bring into close relation the home and the school so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the training of the child and develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure the highest advantages in physical, mental, and spiritual education for every child. OUR MOTTO: In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity.” Meetings are held on the second Friday of each month at 10:30 A. M. at Sunset High School. Twelve
