M Sporting a new appearance, the Royal Sabre Competition Guard had a very exciting season. Not placing lower than third in circuit com- petition, the guard proved to be one of the most successful groups Sunnyvale has known and also one of the most enjoyable to watch. Featuring twelve flags, six rifles, six sabres, three nationals, and a captain, the guard brought en- tertainment to countless spectators through their flowing pictures and patterns, dance and marching technique, and difficult equipment flourishes.
