Extravaganza Hello Dolly proved to be one of the best plays put on in recent years. The large numbers of students working on the play and its three-day run, show how interest in our theatre has grown. However, the equality of the show is what made 'the production a success. The smooth scene changes, fine choreography, and a dancing carraige horse all worked well together. The play itself, follows the adventures of Miss Dolly Levi. Dolly usually matches up couples but is tired of this and wants to be part of a couple herself. She sets her sights on Horace Vandergelder, a cranky, chauvinist, rich, mercantile owner. After a series of esca- pades, she finally gets her man and they live happily ever after. Q lah 1
