Set at the turn of the century, Meet Me in St. Louis was about a middle-class family in a newly-developed metropolis. The story followed the family through sev- eral escapades aimed at getting their father's job back, the job they caused him to lose in the first place. Both students and faculty took part in bringing the excitement of the world's fair to life. The play was of higher quality than those of last year, due to the return of Mrs. Clarke to the Drama Department. ,il

In recent years, rallies have decreased in popularity, while activities like 50's-60's week have increased in popularity. Other traditions, such as lamboree and ASB elec- tions continue to dwindle in importance as the apathetic attitude around our school grows and grows. The student body, being composed by more and more people with after school jobs and other non-school ac- tivities, has grown apart from the school. If the traditions and activities of our school are to continue, a change will have to be made in the students' attitude toward Sun- nyvale High School. G'
