Smash Performance The Varsity and jV Tennis Teams are improving each week and are expected to win one or two league matches. Ac- cording to Coach Rick jones, the most valuable players ap- pear to be Brian Yap, Tuan Phan, Steve Anderson, and Da- vid Hyland, at the start of the season. The biggest obstacle for this team is to play more con- trolled tennis rather than power tennis, commented the coach. 1. Successful Production The Varsity and junior Varsity Badminton teams are off to an excellent start. The Varsity Bad- minton team has excelled with some exceptional players. The junior Varsity Team has fared well with the talents of singles players Carol Chacon, Chris Wozniak, Lola Fahmi, and Lori Hunter. Exceptional doubles players are Lynne Kitagawa and Maria Sena.
