Break-a-leg The Freshman Cross Country team never seemed to get it quite together, but each effort was put out by each team mem- ber. Near the end however, the runners gained self-confidence, tried harder and acquired that all important experience they had lacked. Individual efforts brought an excellent season to the Girls Cross Country team, placing them 2nd in the DAL. The main motivation for this team was dedication along with much practice and determination. Next season should be excellent with most of this years athletes re- turning. 1. Seconds after the start of the race the frosh team takes the lead. 2. Cross Country team search through time sheets for finishing times and over all scores. 3. Louis Morales keeps a deter- mined pace throughout the Crystal Springs races. 4. Rich McCool draws upon his energy in a sprint for the finish line. 5.
