Mr Wood Mr Wood Director of Student Activities is the man who has given his all to student government this year He has helped the ofticers and commissioners in so many ways that those students could never begin to give him all the thanks that are due Mr Wood is a wonderful person without whom we would not have n elticient organization of student government this year Council had such a Student -5 Cross Missakian, Student Body President for the first semester, calls the Student Council meeting to order. The Student Council accomplished many things this year. One of the most important was the new system of holding student body elections out of class, which proved to be a very effective and interesting system. 70

f 0 Every girl who attends Sunnyvale High School is automatically a member of Girls League. Each fall the Girls League sponsors a Twirp Week in which the girls dress in funny costumes. The highlight of this mixed up week is the girls-ask-boys-dance the Twirp Twirl in which the girls are expected to pay. The Girls League also sponsors a Mothers Tea each spring.
