O O Now at the end of our school year, as we pause to count our many happy memories, we think of the late Betty Kay Ross, who with her smiling face and shining courage proved an inspiration and a symbol of strong Christian faith to us all. Betty attended Sunnyslope High for three years under an unusual handicap but in that time she reaped many hon- ors and awards in various fields as a result of her well-planned labors. FOREWO 0 The World's Fair, with its many exciting, different, educa- tional, and enioyable features, has been chosen as the theme for the T959 VALHALLA. We, the staff, feel that our life at Sunnyslope High School, as depicted and recorded by the yearbook, is similar to the varied interests at the Fair. We, at SHS, have four main interest areas and at the Fair, activities were divided into tour main groups. They are Instruc- tional, Physical, Organizational, and Recreational.
