Dedication Through the years other experiences will crowd out many ofour schoolday remembrances. But we shall always treasure fond mem- ories ofthe wonderful start we were given in the first grade. lt is in deep and abiding appreciation for her patience and her kind and nn- derstanding heart, that we, the senior class, affectionately dedicate THE ECHO of 1960 to Mrs. Laura Keeton Chamberlain.

Princzjialfs Message I want to congratulate you members of the Senior Class ofSun- nyside-McKenney High School for having reached this point in your education. I hope we can awarda diploma to each of you at the end of the school year. You are the first class tohave had the opportunity to participate in the new twelve year program at Sunnyside-McKenney High School. I have seen in you many of the results of this extra year. You are more mature and have assumed more responsibility in the various school activities. I feel that you have fully justified this new pro- gram. Many responsibilities, social, political, and religious, are go- ing to rest on the shoulders of high school and college graduates ih these rapidly changing times. Much of what the future holds, human- ly speaking, is largely in your hands. You must stand on your own and make your own contribution to society. I trust that each of you will be an influence for good for your family, your country, and your God. We are going to miss you here at Sunnyside-McKenney High School, and our interests and prayers will go with you. M. B. Heizer, Principal
