Executive Council The key group of the student government is Executive Council, This group, having executive as well as legislative functions, handles finance, supervises pro- grams, and initiates legislative matters. As a communication link with the administration and faculty, the Executive Council and Student Council serve as two sounding boards for student opinion and as a communication link. The Executive Council consists of the seven elected officers of the student body, the presidents of the three classes, the yell king or queen, the newspaper editor, the annual editor, and the high school principal, This year the Executive Council passed music in the halls, girls wearing pants, and beards for boys, They also supervised the league standing board and a Sunnyside Grizzlies banner for the gym. Classes A class cannot be effective un- less it is a well organized group of co-operative people, Such were the three classes of Sunnyside High School during the 1969-70 school year, As a student body we were Very HAPPY TOGETHER because of a background filled with closeness through ten years of growing to know each other before we even reached senior high school, The years at S,H, S, bring stu- dents into contact with joy and agony not only as individuals but as a group, It was through class participation and co-operation that we achieved happiness.
