Guy Looney, President, Betty Anderson, Secretary, Bonnie Kotwitz, Vice President, Hilda Perry, Program Chairman, Dorothy Hedden, Treasurer, Mrs. Ford, Advisor. SENIOR CLASS The Class of 1954 has upheld the tradition of fifty years by concluding its high school life with an active and successful year. It is the last senior class to attend the old high school. The members have worked in harmony under the leadership of Guy Looney, President, Bonnie Kotwitz, Vice President, Betty Anderson, Secretary, Dorothy Hedden, Treasurer, and Hilda Perry, Program Chairman. Mrs. Ford and Mrs. Mannick were the Class Advisors. The class play, uForever Albertn was presented in February under the direction of Mr. Zerr. The outstanding social events of the year were the Junior-Senior Prom and the Junior-Senior Banquet held in the spring. This year both the boys and girls wore the traditional black gowns. Baccalaureate services were held on May 30 and commencement exercises were held on June 4.

SALUTATORIAN Alice Brook was selected as salutatorian with a 3.90 grade average. Alice is a member of Honor Society, Ex- ecutive Council, and vice president of Thes- pians. She worked on the annual two years and is co-editor of this year's publication. Alice plans to attend college and major in Christian education. I4 VALEDICTORIAN Wilma Vice has been an outstanding stu- dent in Sunnyside High School. She has par- ticipated in many activities and has still maintained an HA average during the past three years. Wilma is a member of Honor Society. She served as A. S. B. secretary during her senior year and class secretary during her junior year. Her other extra-curricular activities include G. A. A., F. H. A., and Executive Council. She attended Girls' State in 1953. Wilma is interested in music and is an accomplished violinist. She plans to specialize in music and education in college.
