In the past year you have shown the the administration that you have the tential for good citizenship and for work in any field of endeavor that choose. It is our wish that you have the greatest success in your future life and that some of the tools of learning that we have handed you will be of some value in keeping you a good American. KENNETH RABY Principal This yearbook comes to you at one of the most joyous and faculty and greatest po- Y outstanding you should 3 :,fQff f --qfiis J .. ,i eliswft I have never read any great atomic, world-shaking state- ments made by Superintendents in an annual message. How- ever, appreciation for work accomplished is never trite, and can very well be electrifying. You, who have worked diligently on this annual, deserve the highest praise from your fellow senior. The joy that comes from doing something with a high degree of excellence, and the appreciation of others are your rewards for developing a fine annual. Although this is the last annual to be issued from the old Sunnyside High School, may it be the best. Let me add my congratulations to you and your advisor, Mrs. Ludwig, for doing a splendid work. K. P. MALLERY Superintendent also one of the most important periods of your lives. Some of you are just beginning many years of intensive higher edu- cation in preparation for a chosen profession. For others it is the end of twelve years of institutional education. Regardless of individual status, each of you has thus far.been the re- cipient of one of America's rich and priceless gifts to its young, a free education. This treasure is given to use for per- sonal benefit and gain, for the enjoyment and enrichment of the society in which you are to live, and for service to the God who made it possible. May He richly bless and keep each of you throughout long and useful lives. LEE COLBY Assistant Superintendent
