Valed1ctor1an Carolyn Larson this year s valedictorlan obtain ed this honor for her hlgh scholastic achievements by maintaining a grade point average of 3 93 She has attended Sunnyslde Hlgh School for four years and has been active in many clubs and organizations She 1S a member of Honor Society Tri H1 Y library staff and band Carolyn IS interested in art muslc and Working with small children She plans to attend Ellensburg Co Salutatonan Ernest Stephenson co salutatorian of the class of 51 has attended high school in Sunnyside all four years He IS an active member of National Honor Society student director of the high school band and a member of the Fire Squad Although he parti cipated in many extra curricular activities he has an accumulatlve grade point average of 3 91 Ernest plans to attend college where he will major ln music After completing his college educa tlcfin lqe plans to be a music instructor in a secondary sc oo College next year and prepare for elementary school teaching or library work vu, Co Salutatonan Alvin Dreyer entered Sunnyside High School from White Swan the last semester in his junior year. He took an active part in various activities and still maintained a grade point average of 3.91. Alvin is a member of Honor Society and Student Council. He was selected as the candidate for Boys' State where he had ample opportunity to serve as an out- standing leader among the boys. His activity also extended to athletics, where his greatest interest was as a member of the track squad. Alvin will attend college in the fall. He plans to major in mathematics. 14
