Meeting 18-Baseball game with Guilford-There Sunman 13 Guilford 8 20-Baseball game with Dillsboro-nere Sunman 9 Dillsocr 8 24-Baseball game with Milan-There Sunman 4 Milan 3 25-26-Senior Class Operetta 27-Junior High Spelling Bee 27-Baseball game with Guilford-Here Sunman 5 Guilford 10 28-Junior and Senior Reception May 2-Baseball game with Milan-Here -Baseball game with Moores F' '-Ther -Baccalaureate Comrencement The Parent Teachers Association, or P T A , as it is often called, does quite a lot to improve our school each year This year, as always, they have sponsered concessions at the ball games This money is used to make these improvements The regular monthly meetings are held in the School every second Thursday The officers for this year are as follows President, Mrs Joe Williams, Vice President, Mrs Roy Nedderman, Secretary, Mrs Floyd Ahring, Treasurer, Mrs Harry Weber The association would like for all the parents to belong to it so they can see just how the school is operated At the meet'n s there is a speaker or some other entertainment The speakers included Mr Gabbard, Principal of Aurora High School, Rev Carter, and Mr Young, State Suterin tendent of Schools, A square dance group entertained at one meeting At Christmas time a play was presented by the grade children and in March a movie was given The Band, Chorus, and Speech Class took part in several meetings At the last reeting the different classes had displays of the thinvs they did tnrough the year The Home Economics Classes presented a Dress Revue of the garment they completed and served punch and cookies following the meeting dludftwdd We enrolled as freshmen with 26 students Our class sponsor for our freshmen ear was Kohlerman for our Sophomore year, hr Mardis and for our Junior year Mrs Scheivley During these three years we lost six members They are William Hensley, Marcella Riehle, Frances Schantz, Mary Noggler, Viola Thurston and bsther Wolulng Our class officers are President, Rex Stith, Vice Pres Ronald Kratzer, Sec Trees Delores Vogel, Reporter, Ronald Kratzer The ame of our Junior Class Play was, Peter Beware The cast was as follows Eunice Rogers Roberta Ahring Miss Jones Thelma Dierckman Tin Weatherly Robert Bruns Evelyn Bronsen Betty Leguillion Flo Janet Bauman Jane Vonsell Thelma Brickler Peter Barrett Ronald Kratzer Owen Williams Rex Stith Sam Disney Robert Holabaucher Melinda Holland Jacqueline Stecker 009046 We enrolled as freshmen with 26 members Mrs Robinson was our sponsor teacher Durinr these two years we lost nine members They are Mary Craig, Cletus Gutapfel Micheal Hartman, Roger Huber, Franklin Sandlin, Robert Scholl, Rebecca Webster, Cynthia Kalkbrenner and Robert Kreimer Our class officers are President, Irvin Hornberger, Vice President, Jonn Campbell, Sec Treas , Delores Bernhard, Reporter Micheal Hartman We enjoyed two class parties this year lllll Ill lllllllll Ill Illll I ll lllll llll l Ill I Ill ll I I Ill llllllll ll ll lllllllllllllll Illl I ll I I l Compliments of PLOPLES BAN?
