A - A RETROSDECT4 AA peewees The Peewt-es. otlie-rwise known as the Little Augiesn. are one of the greatest assets to our svhool. During the season when our vollegt- and high swhool varsity teams are trainins' and working so hard to win their uanies, the nolvle little peewees are working' equally as hard. This is at great inspiration to the other teams of our sc-hool. in partirular, and to the spirit of the svhool in general. From the Peewee ranks valuable men are developed tor our varsity teams. Here in the peewee games, hoys tind that they have potential powers they never dreamed they had-Men who have developed into valuahle players from the Peewee ranks are surh Inen as Rush, linstin. and XVatson. Vndei' the able direction of their heloved vom-h, Carl Everett, the Peewees liayo- had a most SllC'l't'SSflll season, Ot' the five games played, the Peewee-s won three, tie-d sue. and lost one, niaking a total st-ore of Til points to the opponents' HT. The first game was played with the strong Inverness team. Both teams battled long and hard, hut as the final whistle hlew the svore ended ti to tl for Inverness, The next game was with the varsity team of ltta Iiena on the ltta Bena gridiron. The game ended 20 to 19 for the l'eewees, Morgan City was the next to hnnihle themselves In the superior fighting spirit of the mighty little Aggies. The game ended 6 to o for the Peewees. Our next game was played with the Mississippi Romans. The result was a Htl to tl virtory for the Aggie Peewees. Our next game and last game was played on our own gridiron with Morgan City. Morgan City was determined to avenge the defeat they had suffered at the heginnina of the season. But the Peewees would not yield, the result was a 6 to 6 deadloek. The regular line up for the Peewees is: Stone. Red Graves. Goss, Franklin Speneer, Dixon Fraiser, Harvey Pyron, John Miller, Starr, Rushing, Anders. Worley and Woodrow Spenver. Other Peewees who were always ready to help the 1-ause are Newell, Jenes. Henry, Prime. Marshall, Carter. Patil Graves, Hendrieks and Sturdivant. AAAAIMOAAAA foil
