New Boss Tackles Old Job The completion of the new educational facility is only the beginning of great experiences for Sundown students. Lasater THE LASATER FAMILY Seated: Laurie and Mr. Lasater Standing: Marianne and Mrs. Lasater. The Lasaters came to us from Hobbs, New Mexico where they had lived for the past 16 years. We are happy to have them as a part of our school system and our community. Mr. Lasater taught English in Junior High before becoming affiliated with the Public Rel- ations Department in Hobbs schools. He served as Elementary Principal for four years. Both Mr. and Mrs. Lasater, Julia, hold B.A. degrees from Hardin Simmons University, Abi- Iene, Texas. Mr. Lasater received his M.A. and Ed.S degree from Eastern New Mexico Univer- sity. Marianne graduated with high honors. She plans to attend Texas Tech in the fall. Laurie completed her sophomore year at Sundown.
