This club belongs to a National Organization called Science Clubs of America and is a chartered member. The purpose of this club is to stimulate further study in science, and to help school, community and country in any Way possible. Some of the projects the club has been carry- ing on, are the collecting of paper and other scrap useful for the war effort. With the money earned by selling these things the club bought a micro-projector. This micro-projector is called a Seascope and is very handy in the Biology and Chemistry classes. Thelma Poe, a senior who is very active in Chemistry, took a science scholarship test given out by the S. C. of A. Speakers were engaged to speak to the club on different subjects.
