LEO CLUB The Leo (Leadership. Experience, and Op- portunity) Club is brand new this year at Sun Valley, although the club has been active in Aston for 8 years. There are 4.294 Leo Clubs with approximately 107.350 members serving in 103 countries. The purpose of the Leo Club is to promote service activities among the youth of a community in order to develop LEO characteristics. The S.V. Leo Club is sponsored by the Lion's Club and advised by Mrs. Laszek. Twice a year students have the opportunity to write messages to their special someone in the Wishes section of the Christmas and Valentine editions of the paper The newspaper also offers its staff a chance to participate in the Annual Delaware Valley Press Club Seminar. STAGE BAND The talented group of musicians who com- prise the Sun Valley Stage Band give us out- standing concerts and assemblies in the Spring and at Christmas time. Their various renditions of popular and jazz arrangements come through sacrifice and hard work. Al- though committed to various other activities, band members make time to practice. Their love of music is evident from their dedication and, more importantly, their results. Under the direction of Mr. Allen Muller, they prepare the stage for productions like this year’s play, “Bye-Bye Birdie” and 1988 Senior variety show, “Causing a Commo- tion . Their hard work in such things as lighting, sound, and stage scenery provide a necessary ingredient for all successful productions. By doing their jobs well, they have contributed to the enjoyable memories which all can gain from a show well done. Stage Crew Members: Jim C.
