DEDICATION Mr. Edward Kozlowski Our past three years at Sun Val- ley have been filled with triumphs and failures. When we have suc- ceeded, as with our proms, the good feelings have pulled us through our bad times. One man has pulled us through those many ups and downs, Mr. Edward Koz- lowski, and for this reason, we, the Class of 1982, dedicate our year- book to him. He has been a true man for all seasons, and he has demonstrated this through his to- tal devotion to our class. He is solely responsible for unifying our class and making us into one of the best classes to ever come through Sun Valley High School. From last minute decorating for proms, to the long and involved Senior Variety Show, Mr. Koz- lowski has always been there as an advisor and friend. Thank you, “Koz”! We will always be grateful!

APPRECIATION Miss Natalie Densmore Natalie Densmore, our guidance counselor, has done much to steer us towards graduation. Problems, great or small, are her daily menu. Did you ask for Psychology and get Wood Shop? Did the computer schedule you for Physics and 3-D Design at the same time? No prob- lem! Miss Densmore can straight- en crooked rosters. Are you torn between Bricklaying and Brain Surgery? No problem! Miss Dens- more can define your options. Have you received scholarship of- fers from Harvard and “Hacken- sack Tech”? Still, no problem! Miss Densmore to the rescue. Whether for hectic schedule changes, career information, or college guidance, her door has al- ways been open to us. Thank you, Miss Densmore. Mr. Robert Moran A teacher whom we have all really appreciated through our years here at Sun Valley has been Mr. Robert Moran. Many have known him through his science classes, Honor Society, the Beatles Assembly, Monty Pythons, or just as a friend. He has been dedicated to making life here more reward- ing, more interesting, more bear- able, and more enjoyable. He has always stressed having people work together and having fun. He likes to see students enjoying school and believes the best way for them to do this is to get in- volved in extracurricular activi- ties. This explains his reasoning for sponsoring so many of these activities. His warm, friendly na- ture makes everyone feel willing to discuss any problem with him. We would like to thank this fine man for all he has done for us. Mrs. Elizabeth Irons The services of Mrs. Elizabeth Irons are greatly appreciated by all. She has been here at Sun Val- ley for many years. Throughout these years she has administered to both the physical and emotion- al health of many students. Be- cause of this, she has become a valuable asset to those who at- tended this institution. Her good sense of humor and her caring attitude have won her the respect and friendship of both students and faculty alike. Mrs. Irons is a warm, friendly, thought- ful and perceptive individual. Her great understanding of people has contributed in making her an ex- cellent nurse. She gives a great deal of herself to the students and faculty at “the Valley” each day; and although not many take the time to say thank you, her services are appreciated by all. Mr. Richard P. Miller When we think of people we have appreciated knowing and working with here at Sun Valley, we cannot fail to include Mr. Richard P. Miller. He, along with Mr. Bolyard, has been an assistant principal for our three years as students here. He also works at co- ordinating the Health Physical Education program. Although we have known him when he acts in his role as a disciplinarian, we have also known him to be a ter- rific person. He takes a personal interest in our class and supports us in many activities. He also takes a personal interest in each individual student at Sun Valley, and is willing to help them in any way possible. We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank him for all his services. 5
