SOPH OM ORE Y EAR: hayride, sports jamboree, Though we were new at the Valley in our sophomore year, we quickly became part of the fun and activi- ties. The first big event was the Sports Jamboree in which we placed second. Who can forget our famous buttons . . . the big ball football game that went pop . . . beating the seniors in tug-o-war . . . JUNIOR YEAR: welcoming back picnic, PSAT's, . . . W9 What's with you? Haven't you ever seen a guy type before? BMW E No longer were we the scorned sophs-we were juniors now, and we started that year with a whirlwind of activities. No sooner had each junior gotten his new class ring turned a seventy-seventh time by that special someone, when we undertook a maga- zine drive that netted 81500! Other events included the Bicentennial Sports Jamboree, and a very successful rock concert by Ezra White. In the mean- time, members of our class were con- tributing to the entire school in a multitude of ways. Several juniors showed a flair for drama in the Drama Club's acclaimed 1976 production, Up the Down Staircase. Other class- mates played an important role in the second place finish by the varsity basketball team. Nonetheless, the un- deniable highlight of our junior year was Hawaiian Paradise , the long awaited Junior Prom. What are you staring at?
