Director Dr. James R. Morris, Ir. , newly ap- pointed Director of Sumter TEC brings to this position a varied background in education, having both teaching and ad- ministrative eXperience through the Junior College level . He earned his doctorate at the Uni- versity of Southern Mississippi with a major in Educational Administration , and a minor in Educational Research. He maintains membership in National professional associations , and is a mem- ber of educational , scholastic , and leadership honor societies. Ed Lofton Asst. Dean of Extension School Ed Lofton , Asst. Dean of Extension School, assists the Dean of Extension in the administra- tive duties of the extension school. He counsels prospective evening students and supervises the in center night school programs. John William Pace , Director of Admissions , coordinates with the admissions committee to determine admission standards for all programs.
