Secretarial Science II The Secretarial Science Department of Sumter TEC offers the Associate of Applied Science Degree to students who complete the two-year course. The graduate of this program is well-trained to enter the business world as: Stenographer, Private Secretary, Bookkeeper, and many other exciting positions. Secretarial Science students have the opportunity to perfect their skill during lab classes. Typing, shorthand, and business machine labs are equipped with similar machines that would be encountered in the business office.
