PROPHECY FOR THE CLASS OF 1953 One sunny dey in the month of June in the year 1962, I was lazily sitting in the shade of an old chestnut tree. Suddenly in front of no arose a column of smoke which grsduelly took the form of 3 msn. I was frightened, and st itel to run away but he spoke and said, HFecr not, I on only glediinfd He then gave ,mc the srell lamp which hi held in his Meri and said, WBy rubbing this lamp, any wish your he rt desires will be grnnted.n Then as he slowly diseppe,r3d I was left a- lone feeling dazed, if it had not been for the limp I held in my hand I would have sworn I vis drefning. it length, however, I decided to test gloddinfs lamp and see if the supern tural was rielly true. So I rubbed the lamp and wished that I might again see all my old classmates of '53. Suddenly 3 carpet appe red before me. Presuming that it w s a magic carpet, I sat down on it. On the commend, HGol,n we went floating through the air. In short time I found myself in s well-known hos- pital in the Middle West. New I see a beautiful nurse, dressed in 2 crisp white uniform, going from room and room cheering her patients end giving then new hope. Why it is none other then my old clessmate Betty Shank. She his fulfilled her greatest ambition and is Q nurse. Deciding I had stayed at the hosoital long enough, I climbed beck on my cfrpet Grd in 5 little while I was delivered at the entrance of o large office building. is I entered the cuter office I v,e ftep: d by 3 Young lady who informed me thct the prbsidenk of the company was in confezenee ond that I would have to veit u :hert time before i could sec him. After about 1 hllf hour she told me that I could see the president. I walled into the inner office--what 3 surprise! The ooss mms Horgzn Moore. I visited with hi: for 9 short time SIU thin Jcld him thit I should he on my wiv. I again sit on my csrpet ind in 1 short time I found myself walking down Broadway. I heppenod to look up and see e big sign in front of Carnegie Heil 1i'rrv ing Marilyn Blood. I went in and Marilyn wass,rl V I listened Until she was through and then win: .Q stege where I found Unrilyn in her dressing room.
