A REVIEW OF A FEW SUMMER BJ UTM' ' anhlBll,GJEB Sumner vs St. Francisville This was the first game and the 1 grabs showed signs of greatness as they soundly trimmed the Saints 55-45 with Petty and J. Poole leading the way. The Saints beat us three times in l95lL52. Sumner vs Lllendale The Arabs was trouble to Lllendale and trimmed the Wolves 70-41. Fisher, Perrott, and J. Poole showed the way with 14, 16, and 17 points respectively. The Wolves had beaten the 19 51-52 Arabs twice. Sumner vs Llbion Against a much bigger school our Arabs showed they had what it took as they trimmed a bowildared Qlbion five 54-59. J. Poole was high-man with 18 points, with Petty and Fisher adding ll each. Sumner vs Noble Sumner took over the conference lead by beating their arch-rivals the Noble Wildcats 54v46, Fisher collected 21 points wit? 1 J. Poole getting 14.

Sumner vs Hutsonville Our first defeat. Hutsonville used a stall type game which caught the Lrshs off balance and without their shootingability with them that night. The two high point meh for the team were T. Poole, with Petty and Iisher tying. Sumner X5 Louisville We lost our hold on the conference lead to the eventual champions, the Louisville Cardinals. It wasnft a tight game until the last quarter as the grabs lost 55-55. One of tho bright spots however was from Senior forward Don Petty. He had a total of 2l points with J. Poole following with lO points.
