The members also serve cocoa and sandwiches to the teams and cheerleaders after the basketball games. With the help of the Industrial Arts Department, F. H. A. members have re- paired toys which were distributed by the Marine Seacoast Mission at Christmas time. The Chapter made and filled baskets and sent cards to patients in nurs- ing homes at Christmas time. They have also sent toys, books, and other articles to a bed-ridden child. On January 19 of this year, the Chapter served a smorgasbord to the French- man's Bay Parent-Teacher Association. Chapter members served coffee and doughnuts to volunteer workmen at a Work Bee on December ll. In October, fourteen members of F. H. A., accompanied by Mrs. Cole, attended the district F. H. A. meeting in Ellsworth. The Sumner Chapter of F. H. A. was invited to Pemetic to install their new officers. At the District Convention Katherine Ford was elected chairman of DistrictB The Chapter was pleased to receive word recently that Nancy' Jellison has been chosen for the Degrees of Achievement Committee for the State Future Homemake rs of America. 38 D Vice-Prcsidcril - David Albee Secretary - Betty Johnson Treasurer - Katherine Ford Adviser - Mrs. Wooster resident - mire-3 Jeinsorr F R E N C H X' V Cl U B .W re-rd QE l FIRST ROW: N, Johnson, M.
