! r 1 Torn Brooks President If Q1 To Sumnefs Gail Rosario Ralph Stewart joan Duffy Secretary Vice -P resident Treasurer The senior class will no longer chant: To the top vve'll always strive we're the class of '65, but rather, To the top we've always strivedg now at the top we have arrived. The class of 1965 is not only tops in the sense that they are now seniors, but in every respect, academics, the social realm, and athletics. The senior class will be the largest ever to graduate from Sumner High. The stiff competition created by a class of this size has made hard workers out of the seniors. For the grades and scholarship they wanted and needed, they had to be in there competing every minute. Their efforts have paid off, they will graduate with a very high scholastic rating. With the combined efforts of such a 10 large class the seniors have presented to our school three outstanding dances. Those of their Sophomore, junior, and Senior years. Their Homecoming skits, senior play and drive for class unity have also found their rightful place of honor in the school. The senior athletes usually offer the most to our athletic coaches and this class is far from an exception. The class of 1965 has produced many fine athletes and their's has been an integral part in Sumner's success in the Sea- mount League. The class of 1965 for these reasons and many others will be remembered by faculty, coaches, and underclassmen as one of the greatest ever to graduate from Sumner High School.
