Miss Emmaline Schlauch was advisor. The main activities of the year were the Girls' rnzgzfgfgnsr Club party which was held October 23rd, the style show ImSff,Q'jjl,'f, i'gant larrindu K1-noyvx featuring clothes from Mollie's Dress Shop, and the Mother and Daughter Banquet which was held May 9th, Each month a girl of the month was chosen by the cabinet, which consists of the officers ad representa- tives from each class. The representatives were: Bar- bara Hall, seniorg Donna Swezey, juniorg and Rose- mary Hunter, sophomore. This year the Girls' Club purchased a girl of the month pin which is to be passed on each month. Some of the activities in which they took part were: the Christmas Pageant, Spring and Winter Concerts, the Easter and Memorial Day as- semblies, Rotary, Kiwanis, exchange assemblies with White River and Issaquah, and the Northwest Regional Competition Festival held at White River. Erin Kingston, soprano, was selected to represent our school at the Northwest Music Educators Conference in Missoula, Montana. The choir has several members elected to the music council. These are Charlotte GIRLS NONETTE McConnell, sophomore, Alverne Nyhuis, junior, Ngliff XS1f,',lQHQ' QfQfQfg,,fmi'J 'lmnsl' and Tommy Matthews, senior. They also sang for the Daffodil Luncheon for the queen. At the con- test they received an excellent rating. Anita Lewis and Sylvia Larson were accompanists.
