The Student Council, governing body, representing the student body was led by President Tom Huff who weilded the gavel with authority. Other officers were: vice president, Tom Tebbg secretary, Arden deCarteretg and treasurer, Patty Jean Koch. Other active members include the president of Boys' and Girls' Club, a representative of the yell squad and an elected representative from each class, advised by the principal, Arne Strand. The group financially backed the football banquet, a dinner honoring the ticket-takers and sellers, and support to the music delegates to Missoula, Montana.
