The Cabinet consisted oi: President, Ann deCarteret, Vice President, Geneve Purvis, Secretary, Nita Peterson, Treasurer, lane Knoblauch, Historian, Shirley Cleaver. This club is based upon service and it has been busy decorating study hall and bulletin boards, selling refreshment at football games, furnishing entertainment at the county iniirrnary, redecoratrng the girls' club room, sponsoring the May Day program, and completing many other projects. They also were the sponsors of many social events such as a tall mixer to get acquainted, a spring hike for the ninth grade girls, cr tolo dance, a fashion show, illustrating examples oi modern dress, and their largest affair was the annual Mothers and Daughters Banquet held in May, They also had many interesting programs tor the meetings. The Girls' Clulu has done its job of service for itself and the school well.
