LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the Senior Class of '49, some slightly er- ratic, but the majority sound of mind, on this, the 29th day of April, do declare this writing to be our last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all other testimonial writings heretofore made by us: To Miss Marie, our sponsor, we leave unexpress- ed our deep humility and appreciation for her guid- ance through the years. To Mr. Hunter, we leave-hoping he will have many more successful years at S. C. H. S. and never have another Senior class like ours. To the faculty, we leave all the marvelous new improvements, the greatest of which will be the ab- sence of the present Senior class. To the Juniors, we leave our dignity--if they can find it. To the Sophomores, we leave our initials carved on desks and all the chewing gum stuck beneath them. To the Freshmen, we leave all of our unused capacity for knowledge. As individuals we wish to leave some of our characteristics to the underclassmen. I, Jean Barnard, leave hoping that next year they can have a basketball team. I, Bessie Binion, bequeath my height to Robert Brown. I, Winnie Bolding, leave my giggles to Patty Sue Stinson. I, Bill Allen, leave my ability to play basketball to Bobby Wilson. I, Melvin Briley, leave my ability to make friends to everybody. I, Jerial Caruthers, leave my knowledge of cur- rent events to Billy Riggs. I, Loree Cole, leave my typing ability to Joyce Jones. I, Wilma Creasey, leave my ability to act to all future dramatic students. I, Kenneth Davenport, leave my method of solv- ing trig to the Payne boys.
